They are addictive, beware, you have been warned. These are three of only eight I have. All three are Replica Arms, Marietta, Ohio, ser. nos. 10 (38 Special), 222 (45 Colt) and 273 (357 Magnum). All three have the original style Remington Cylinder pin retaining spring. Not sure how many were made like this before the change over to the cross pin like the later Colt's, but by the 1200 range they were definitely cross pin. Also have never seen a Replica Arms gun in 44-40, tho there may exist some. Earliest 44-40s I've seen were marked as Navy Arms.

Never heard of that company before. So does that mean they are USA made? Or are they a distributor, like Cimarron, and made in Italy?

That's a nice one, RRio. Congrats.

KM, those 44-40's look good, too.

I like the '75's with stag grips. Had one myself years ago but it got away from me.

Great looking revolvers. I have a pair in 45 colt, however they still have the original grips.  Maybe nice fancy ones for them someday.

King, Replica Arms of Marietta, Ohio was an early importer of Uberti old West revolvers, probably late 60s to early 70s. Serial number 10 is marked for 1971, the other two are 1972. I think, am not sure, they may have been the original importer of the 1875 Remingtons. They were eventually bought out by Navy Arms.

I think that is exactly correct. My first '75 was a 7.5 cut down to 5.5 with a blade sight that I made and had silver-soldered in place. It was a Navy Arms and in the mid 1970's.

Replica was the original importer of 1875. I got mine in 1973-74, Inquired at Replica Navy Arms answered, purchased from Navy Arms received a Replica Gun in a Navy Arms box SN 1359
