Shot the USFA
« on: January 16, 2010, 03:53:28 PM »
33gr of 3f bp behind a 250gr cast fn lead bullet..at 10 yards,,,one jagged tennis ball (maybe smaller) hole from 6 rounds.

Repeat.

The same.

Now, that was off the pistol rest, not offhand. But, I think I have a winner here,,,hit direct to poa on windage,,and the groups averaged about 1 to 1 1/2" high at that distance.

I am very pleased. Very

And you will continue to be so!

The next question is: will you order an identical mate, or something a little different?  I tend to acquire them in identical pairs for CAS shooting.  Of course, multiple pairs in different configurations and calibers are required.  ::)

One thing I forgot,,and to state with an objective critical honestly,,,,the trigger has but a wee,,and I mean a wee bit of creep. You can feel the 'slightest' gritty'ness about the time it breaks. Nothing most would even bother about, but, i'm critical. A wee bit of stone work from my gunsmith and she will be like glass on ice. Lockup is definate and tight.

Were this gun to be used as a 'gamer' revolver, a reduced strength mainspring might be in order.

I must say, again, this revolver meets and exceeds my expecations for an out of the box firearm of any make.

I would buy it again in a heartbeat.

And, thank you all for your kind words and interest.
