When your eagle has flown....Whatcha do????
« on: December 16, 2009, 11:07:34 AM »
The eagle grip medallion, I'm talking about.   ;D
The (but not often) fall out of the recess.  And they ain't sold separately.  :'(

What have ye put in it's place?

I been pondering maybe a round hunk of turquoise maybe.  Or maybe the head of a cartridge case?

What have you RATS Pards done with the empty nest when your eagle flys away?

Be artistic, RATS!

1- A ten dollar gold piece looks good.
2- A silver disk looks alright also.

3- A new set of grips of Ivory & dimonds for the ladys. ;D ;D

You reckon that is an Eagle????

I have always thought it was a Phoenix!!! I could be wrong,,,it has been known!

I thought they were obtainable from the parent company, but when I lost one, I replaced it with a gold star spot from my leather working bin.

Just slightly bigger than a eagle medallion.

MG, I bet he wont sell ya one for no $10.00.  ;) Would be cool tho, and might double the price of your gun!
MG, I have a grip you can have the eagle out of ifn you want it. Its some I picked up at an auction, and they are single sides. Will have to find them tho, in the parts boxes.

Thanky, kindly, Dalton!

Actually I do have a couple of extras in my stuff.
I was just wondering what other RATS used to dress up their "wood".

Merry Christmas to you & Freeda & that young-un!  8)

MG

PS:  Congrats on the State Games bid, Pard!

Thanks for the Christmas wishes, MG! Hopefully we get thru it in one piece after visiting the rest of the family. ::)

Hopefully we can pull off the State Games. I dont know too many details yet, as I was deer hunting instead of at our last meeting. :-[ I am sure it will be good tho! Hope to see you there.

Have a Merry Christmas!
