Looking for an 8" barrel in any caliber.  Have been on the list for an 8" .44 since December, 2019.

Jake, I think they must have lost that list!  Maybe you should call again.  :)

Greetings all.

Hot and humid per usual here.

I got an email last night saying a package I ordered I March finally shipped. I’d forgotten about it, so the email was a bit of a surprise. I got a used Lee Loader for 38spl for $12. They didn’t charge my card until shipment though, so I guess I can’t complain all that much.

NCOWS / Re: Marlan Ingram ?

Abilene, and all: Marlin wrote several articles on using original S&W revolvers and cartridge conversion in CAS that were published in The Backwoodsman magazine about 20 or so years ago.  I truly enjoyed those articles and still have them!  Please let him know from me as well, that he is missed!  Does he still have all of his old, original S&W's?

Regards,
Jake

My Urologist told me they have to wait 6 months after a needle biopsy to do another PSA test.  Well, I just got the results of that, back down to 3.72 and I am very happy!

Ed, hope you are doing okay!

I ran across this video that some may find helpful.
I have absolutely no affiliation with the creator of this video. Take it for what it's worth.

Way back when, I was probably the best armed KID in my neighborhood range.

I recall, Mattel Shoot'n' sixes and a Fanner 50,
Daisy 1894 Spittin’ Image BB Rifle, & several other Daisy BB Rifles
I had a Mattel Babiy Rolling Block that shot the shooting shell bullets.
Numerus other Mattel, Nickols, Hubley and Marx guns of all shapes and sizes including Tommy Guns, Burp guns. I even recall a Double Barrel SXS cork firing shotgun.

We must be the same age, Major. I grew up with the very same stuff, and watched "horse operas" with my Dad on Saturday and Sunday nights. Born in '52.    ;)

Shotguns / Re: Dumb Question
« Last post by Lucky R. K. on August 05, 2022, 09:18:34 AM »
Now to repeat my original questions, does anyone know someone competent to ream out the chokes to something more usable for me or does anyone know of a custom smith who could competently cut the barrels down to 24" to 26"?

Dave

It would help to tell us where you are located.
