Welcome a new recruit, #661 LOOSE CANNON
« on: November 05, 2008, 11:11:45 PM »
Evening All!!! I would like to introduce y'all to our most recent trooper recruit;

#661        LOOSE CANNON        VA          ATLANTIC

Lt. Col. Steel Horse Bailey, he's ours and lives within 30 min. of me. I am happy to say I recruited him myself. I guess that means the first round is on me. We are getting more troopers close by here. I am thinking a mini-muster may be in the near future.

Welcome Loose Cannon!

If you only live a 1/2 hour from Colonel Jefferson, then you are no more than an 1 and a 1/2 hours from me.

I guess that would have been helpful, duhhhhhhh. He lives in Franklin, va. Charles if the idea turns into something more I will call on you to assist in getting the shoot together. I'm thinking sometime in 2009. Maybe spring/early summer. Any of you Dept. of the Atlantic troopers with an interest in a shoot in the Tidewater Va. area, gaf style, let us know and also forward any ideas to us as well.

Well ... I've shot in Vir-ginny once, and the folks there were damn hospitable.   I'd go back in a heartbeat!

I got this weird yearning to hear the soundtrack to "The Cook, the Ranger and the Hole in the sky!" :o :o :o

An-ny-body got that one?  Litl Rooster, Montana Darlin', Trinity or Silver Creek Slim? ;)

Nobody?

Oh, well ... I think I'll go have some cooked cabbage ...

That would not be a problem Sir!

I have plenty of  paper silhouette targets representing full sized heathens and wood frames so that they may be placed wherever desired. Also, pasters to plug the shot holes. I can not shoot steel with my issue piece right now. The ammunition is cupronickle jacketed 220s at 2000 feet per second and I need to construct some of the special ammunition required for the Grand Army of the Frontier's unique style of campaigning! ;)
