Howdy!
OK, so it’s not a gun but … Has anyone out there had personal experience with the Voyager portable shooting bench from Shooters Ridge?
http://www.shootersridge.com/products/benches/voyagershootingsystem.aspx Specifically, I’m curious about quality and whether it really provides a stable shooting platform, especially on sloping terrain.
I’m going to try getting out to shoot more often this year, and would like the ability to use a benchrest for testing loads and sighting-in at various distances. However, for a number of reasons that I won’t go into here, I cannot set up a permanent shooting bench; thus necessitating the use of a portable one. Ran across the Voyager in one of the catalogs, and with the wheels and ability to break down into a cart it looks well-suited to this requirement.
I’ve searched the ‘net, but cannot find any tests of this item, and only one review (on the Midway site). They’re not cheap, so before I plunk down my hard-earned cash, I’d like to get some feedback from those who have actually used the system. Thanks in advance.
