Del, Should be arriving Thur. about  2:00. Can't hardly stand the wait. Don't worry 'bout them Little Boys, (little boys?) they get along with this Iowegian. Course most of the rest of the Iowegians don't much care for me. ::) Lack of upbringing on thier part I guess. See ya Thur. Al

Del, I'm gonna be extra hungry when I get there on Thursday afternoon.  I may get me a Sandwich in Ord before I get out there.  I will be able to eat my fair share of grub.

Del,

Could you use a BIG fire ring?  (Made from a tractor rim with a grate attatched)  maybe jsut for bonfire?
Let me know, I can throw it in the truck.  Unless Jerry would want to make a fire at the range for some warmth.
I also have a big white coffe pot if ya' need an extree.

Sure could, I have two semi wheels, but there is going to be no room for them,  may end up stackin' the bags of flour between Rick and I in the cab. ;D

BTW at least one desert will be "spotted dog" aka rice pudding with raisins.  Got 15 pounds of rice in the groceries.  Figure if we get snowwed in by chanche will eat rice. ;D

BTW if it would happen woe would be able to eat for a day or two and we'll call Mustang Greg when the snow stops for an air drop. :o

Col. Pitsptr,
now that we're bringing up heat sources, I have one of those kerosene fired Brood warmers by Perfection that look like a small pot-bellied stove. They date back to the 1880s and work petty good. I use a mixture of kerosene and charcoal lighter fluid so that it burns a bit hotter with less kerosene odor.

Do you want me to bring it to take the chill off the barracks somewhat?

Thanks John but we shouldn't need it as the barracks heats pretty easy.

Muster chow was great. I have one question, though, Del, what did you add to those beans when you re-heated them for sunday lunch? They were really good!
