While looking for a holster for my new to me C96 Mauser, I discovered this fellow.
His website is on https://www.etsy.com/shop/LondonJacks
and his work seem high quality , his feedback is excellent .
I considered , less costly route , like making my own, or reaching out to a few makers
This Holster is in his catalog made to order and considering its made in England and ships free....
I have decided I'll go this route....
Custom made to order , lined , and shipped seems a bargain @ $145 US

that looks nice! when you get it, we expect pictures of the whole kit.
-
I can do that :)
Fed Ex say's the gun will deliver Thurs.
- the holster 6–8 weeks , from when I PayPal the order .... that will be the end of this week.
-
That's certainly a good holster for the money. It's made in England and ships for free, too. Looking forward to your photos of it when you have it.
-
The guy has some nice looking stuff. Interesting holster, haven't seen a Mexican loop type for a Mauser before.
-
I thought so, Will.
Abilene, That is what struck me... I searched the net for a western style , first I saw was his offerings in the pattern.
I was impressed , contacted him... quite personable
He is sending a PayPal order form

Gun arrived :D :D :D :D :D

Looks good!

I've looked at his stuff before, very impressive work. The wet forming on the back side of the skirt makes me happy.

Just heard from John @ London Jack my holster is being shipped
actual photos to follow
One week shipping from Jolly "ol" England
Workmanship and quality is 5 stars , I'm very pleased , and London Jack (John) will see my orders again
.... shipping was free, however for the sake of interested people, the rate was British Pound Sterling
18.10 = $ 25.10 USD
From England to my door in one week :o , Graf & Sons & Buffalo Arms are you listening ?
-
Nice! And an excellent picture! :)

My rig is of course London Jack's holster ,
the cartridge box is by the late Dale Jarnagin
C & D Jarnagin #209 US Pistol Box
I bought probably 30 years ago , and used reenacting
it holds 40 rounds of Mauser 7.63 in 4 stripper clips ( a 5th if I had another one )
The money belt is by my own hand, about 8-10 years ago or so , the standing wheat white bronze buckle from Will Gormally
Focus is a bit soft, as the camera/phone is hand held and lighting is a bit subpar.

That's mighty fine work, there. Jack did you well. Good photos, too. 8)

Ooh, that is just elegant!

Jack owes me a new keyboard! Drool destroyed it! That is nice. Just watched Joe Kidd which started my fondness for the Broomhandle. That is truly a piece of art!
-
Turned out great.
-
Screams quality! :o
-
:) Some kind of OUTSTANDING ;D
-
