Haven't actually heard of anyone trying to do that.  Why??  The 1860 has a perfectly good ejector housing and egector that attaches to the side of the barrel lug.
An 1873 has a special lug cast to the frame that is machined to accept the ejector housing.  There is no receptacle on the 1860 nor a place to put one.
Am I missing something???
