Hello SSS,
Took this photo during my tour of duty in Vietnam in August 1968 . . . on Firebase #25 with the Cambodian Mountains in the background . . . I was a grunt back then . . . saw the rainbow early one morning and positioned myself on the Hill so that the rainbow appeared to fall on the American Flag . . . a once in a lifetime photo . . . GOD BLESS the USA ;D

Thanks, Two Flints:
Photo speaks for us. SYMBOLISM matters.
Suggest that we all save that photo!
Above all, you have been a good shipmate.

Hello all,
My photo - GOD BLESS the USA represents how I feel about my Country . . . and why I volunteered for assignment in Vietnam so many years ago. No better place to live your life to the fullest than the USA.
What's going on today really upsets me. I can't understand why so many people have such a depraved and hostile attitude towards the Constitution and everything that is AMERICA.
I have an American Flag, a Vietnam Veterans Flag and a Betsy Ross flag displayed 24/7 and every night they can be seen illuminated by my solar lights.

Thanks in so many ways for sharing your photo. You are a good and dedicated moderator, also IMO. I totally agree with your post.
Happy 'Independence Day', to all who care and understand it significance.

Hoping everyone has a Holiday filled with good cheer, and a chance to reflect on how great America is, despite it's warts and scars.
