First Generation Bisley Kills Harmless Rabbit
« on: December 28, 2012, 10:50:42 PM »
I got a Colt Bisley in 38-40 with a 7 1/2 inch barrel a couple weeks ago. It had a few issues to get to shoot, but with the help of MLV and even some from Tom Sargis, I got the gun shooting POI. Finding a First generation Colt 38-40 with a 7 1/2 inch barrel in a SAA is hard to do, but a Bisley is even harder. I did get it and it is in excellent shape for being made in 1907.  I took it the first weekend to a cowboy shoot, won the match, then took it last weekend rabbit hunting and scored again.

It is a great addition to my safe and will no doubt see some time in the rabbit fields this winter...

I never considered myself a failure...I started out at the bottom and happen to like it here!
