Postal Match Question
« on: March 24, 2007, 05:57:50 PM »
Just came from perusing the GAF sight and could find no set distance for rifles during Postal Match qualification. What would it be? I assume all rifles would qualify at the same distances but is this true?  A clarification is in order.

??? :-[ Hmmmm... I'm not sure why the yardage doesn't show up on the rifle specs. All rifles are fired from 50 yds.

If the distance is only 50 yds, what is the size of the target?  I am used to shooting a regulation police target at 300yds with a Ruger Bisley so this seems awfully close, especially with a rifle. But, then again, this isn't with the latest high-powered tactical/sniper rifle, is it? Gotta start practicing.

It's scaled down to fit on a 8.5"X11" I think you'll find it to be challenging enough.
