Would be interested in learning what will be your next viewing pleasure.
When whisky gets sloshed in my tin mug, the cigar has nice burn and the bigger stuff burns I'm going to watch Tex Willer movie from youtube. Italian western from mid '80s based on classic Bonelli comic

There's a film festival in Belfast at the moment. They are showing Butch Cassidy and the Sundance Kid at 1:00 today. I'm just killing an hour before I go to see it on the big screen. Last time I watched it in a cinema was when it was released in 1969. Can't wait.

I have 'The Professionals' with Lee Marvin on my tablet, might give that a watch on my Saturday morning shift (I'm only there on the off chance something comes up, so movie watching is a-okay as long as my busy work gets done). Either that, or the Coen Bros. 'True Grit.'

If you have not seen Blackthorn, you should. It is a sequel, with Sam Shepherd as Butch.

Excellent movie in my opinion.

I've watched two of the Buster Scruggs stories and had a grin as big as Buster's when he sang.
I see Deadwood: The Movie, is coming out May 31st. The Deadwood series was top notch. Can't wait to see how they close up the loose ends.
Get the popcorn popping...

Glad to hear about the Deadwood movie. They talked about it a few years ago, but I never heard anything concrete. For something like that to fly under my radar, I must be slipping.
As for spaghetti westerns, I love some Terence Hill westerns. They Call Me Trinity, They Still Call Me Trinity, and a few I can't remember.

I recently bought a black and white still image from "Will Penny", signed by Charlton Heston. I believe that that movie will be next on my list.

Blackthorn is a good movie, and Deadwood might be interesting. I'm still high on Butch Cassidy and the Sundance Kid. Redford and Newman are a spell binding combination and I'm not that keen on either of their other films. Did notice a direct nod to The Treasure of the Sierra Madre. Anyone else spot it?

I just ordered Nevada Smith and Gunsmoke seasons 3 and 4 on DVD. Should be here Tuesday.
B&W 30 minute episodes of Gunsmoke are far better than the dramatic drawn out lame and politically driven color episodes

I felt the same way, with the older Maverick vs the newer (70's sequel ). But it started even before that, when they brought in Cousin Beau.
-
I am surprised that Netflix's "Godless" isn't on any of the lists. It starts a little slow but great climax and ending. Its only about 6-8 episodes so its a quick binge.

Amazon says my season 9, pt 1 & 2 of Bonanza will be here on Monday. It has been 4 years since season 8 came out, hope it isn't that long for season 10 to come out. I currently have season 1 thru 8 and the quality of the picture is like they filmed it yesterday. Plus, playing it on a Blu-Ray DVD player makes the quality even better.

I think maybe I'll watch Broken Trail with Robert Duvall again. I watched it when it first came out, but had numerous interruptions watching it and remember very little.

If you ever get a chance, Gunless is a hilarious film. I give it two thumbs up... Just watch it through the after credits. As for me, I am anxiously waiting for the HBO movie of Deadwood, coming out at the end of the month.

Gunless is great! Not a shoot'em'up action flick, but quite entertaining.
-
I bought the complete "Have Gun Will Travel" set and I'm slowly working my way through. I'm on season three (of six). Some episodes are better than others, but I'm enjoying them.

Almost an anti-shoot em up movie, which makes it so funny.

I might check out Gunless,, it sounds interesting. The Son, with Pierse Brosnan is a great series with good attention to weapons, clothing and history.
-
I was into The Son, during the first season. I can't seem to follow season two. Same thing happened with Hell on Wheels. I really got into the first few seasons, then lost interest. Season three of Deadwood too.
I watched the movie finale of Deadwood, and came away a little disapointed.

More of a 'Neo-Western' but I watched 'Treasure of the Sierra Madre' again last night. Loved it as much this time as I did the first time I saw it.

I discovered "Trenches of Hell"
August, 1917. Using the name 'Henri Defense', 17 year old Indiana Jones has enlisted in the Belgian army to fight in the Great War.
I never caught The Adventures of Young Indiana Jones series of which this part originally , this one was quite good .

My sentiments exactly.

I think I am in the mood for "Last Stand at Saber River" again. Been a long time.
