I have a few things to move. I probably need the cash but I might do a bit of trading.
1. British Magazine Lee Enfield mk 1. AKA "Long Lee" This is the model that preceded the SMLE. This is an antique made in 1897 by LSA...London Small Arms. A some what more rare maker. This one is not military marked so was probably made for a civilian shooting club that was popular in England at the time. It has been used long and hard. Maybe it was pressed into service in the Boer War and stayed in SA after that or was captured? No idea but it has seen service. A really cool rifle but I have another one that I like a bit better. It is complete except for cleaning rod and dust cover. I have seen reference to a Boer War era order removing hte cleaning rod. No idea on bolt/dust cover.
$700
2. I have 2 Webley's for sale but I only plan ot sell one. So first one to sell.
#1. A 1916 dated version. Good matte finish, CUT cylinder
but other wise a nice gun. The back strap is marked RTC and some numbers...Royal Tank Corps? Sold out of service markings. Strong markings.
$475
#2. A 1918 dated gun...blued finish with some wear and sadly a bit of pitting. The blue finish is mottled...some is bright and some is dull. This gun is un cut and has not out of service markings. All the other markings are very strong.
$675
Shipping will be extra.
