Answered a question from a Museum patron about his G-Uncle who died in WW I.  Found his service history in the 33rd Division, and found he was a PFC in August 1918, not a Private as they all believed.  Died from Mustard Gas on 3 October 1918. Was one of over 5000 returned home in 1921, to be buried in his home cemetery.

We have our annual High Sierra Shoot Out at Railroad Flat, CA every Memorial day, since around 1985.  The first day, we have a Memorial Day ceremony where we present the flag, say a prayer for the fallen, and have an honor guard of veterans and a 21 gun salute to Taps.
