A sadness today.

Assuming that most of this crowd is closer to my age of 69 than not and may remember I would like to mention to the peanut gallery the sad loss of a British lovely and object of much longing in my youth of Dianna Rigg aka Emma Peel of The Avengers. She was certainly a beauty and had such a wonderful voice. Ive always thought she was cool. I’ll have to dust off my box set of The Avengers tonight and watch a few.

she was "hot" AND a great action actress. She was intelligent, thoughtful, and She made this kid think she was really fighting, unlike her replacement.

She did very well in the business in her later years, too.

I caught avengers in syndication.  She was amazing!   Had to explain to my wife who she was last week when she was looking at yoga clothes and i let out a Hello Mrs Peel.
