1 1'4" overnight, went to T-town yesterday, a few fields with tassels slightly showing, wet today and half the corn in the county is tasseled out and small ears growing.

Yes, it true, sometimes you can actually see and hear it grow after a good rain.

Going to the toy store, and lunch at my favorite BBQ place.
If I even find a (gotta have) I have to remember I need a new 'puter.

82 here, still heavy dew. Brown Dog went out; told me the grass is wet. He will wait till it dries off or he has to go worse. Odd dog, Vet run yesterday, more prednisone for allergy, blood test shows kidneys are fine, a worry, toenails cut.

And now he decided he likes roasted carrots.

OK, the grass is dry, now it's not, what a clown.  ;D

I sleep on the couch because it saves on air costs and right in front feels good, so I close the bedroom door. When I go outside without him, he pushes the door open to the bedroom and goes back in the living room. Either need to adjust the latch or get Nick to.  ::)   Does it just to try and piss me off.

82 here right now and HUMID, yikes. Heading for 96 here with my Nephew and his daughter heading in today and she will be staying here with us prior to the rest of the family getting relocated here. She's a great kid, 17 years old and is already signed up for the volleyball team, so she is getting here for the practice. She's been my buddy since she was old enough to walk and she absolutely loves my wife.

That's great news, Del.

On another note, I'm having my teeth cleaned next week, and I need to take antibiotic pills before the cleaning due to a hip replacement. These pills have always been free. Today I was told the cost would be $149. When I questioned why the huge cost, they said tablets were prescribed and if I take capsules, they are free. Of course, I said give me the capsules. Go figure?
