I have been reading about the flooding inside the “beltway” . Northern Virgina, DC area.  I guess it has been quiet ugly. Hope Sod Buster you are higher and dry.
My nephew and young family had to evacuate. From their home in Alexandria.

Pass on caffiene this morning. I am a bit dehydrated.

About Midnight last night this past, my O2 concentrator took a dump. I had two small tanks available. I hooked to one and set the flow to half of my normal use. About 6:30 it was empty, i hooked up the other and called the emergency number.  They left here 15 minutes ago.  Bigger machine. Now i have to refill my tanks.

Afternoon all.

I'm still alive over here.  They evacuated the entire town of Lewiston last night, all the way to about 2 air miles from me.  The fire hasn't jumped the line yet, but they were expecting high winds last night.  We got a few little spot fires on this side of the line, but nothing major.
Our power has been off and on every few hours, but they're reenergizing the circuit that connects us to the valley today, so that should solve the problem.

Off to try and not choke on the smoke while I do some yard work.

I’d set a trap but don’t want to catch one of our dogs in it.

Afternoon all.

Forecast for 105 today. As of noon we are at 95.  Still Smokey.

They're getting some good line around the fire, and doing some back burns.  The fire jumped the line in a couple spots, but they corralled it pretty quickly.  Official numbers are saying almost 1600 structures damaged or destroyed, and there have been six fatalities. And this whole fiasco was started by someone driving with a flat tire.
