Title: Our firearm deer season opens tomorrow. Do you hunt deer with your Rugers?

Go the 200th Year Super Blackhawk ready for tomorrow's hunt. 
Anyone else here big game hunt with their Ruger six-guns?

Nope, last deer I killed with a pistol was with a '58 Remington cap and ball.  I have never shot one with a Ruger.

Biggest caliber I have in a Ruger is a .357 Blackhawk(Actually 3 of them). I've carried one on my belt when hunting before, but always as a second gun to a rifle.

Not single actions but I did shoot one with a SRH 44 mag this year. My SRH 480 has bagged several in the past.

Yep, got a big fat doe with my NM Blackhawk .45 Colt, 2nd with this pistol. Got a big doe with .357 way back in 92 also.
