Roy Cobb. We have two members at the club I shoot at with Sharps made by Chiappa in 45/70 and they shoot very well, they are both very happy with them.

Great to hear that and I found a local gun shop owner who shoots one as well and he loves it so put a deposit on one today now to wait for the PTA to come through

The current issue of Guns Of The Old West has a review of the Chiappa 1886 Trapper in caliber 45-70. I haven't had a chance to read it yet, but it looks quite interesting. I've been wanting a lever gun in 45-70 for quite some time. This could be the one. 8)
