Hi All,
I'm new here at the Forum as this is my first post. I just wanted to take a few minutes to sing the praises of USFA American made firearms. About a year ago I was fortunate enough to pick up a pair of consecutively numbered Rodeos that were used (bit of edge ware but no scratches or buggered screws) and chambered in 38-40. The revolvers were manufactured in 2003. These are two of the most fun and most accurate six shooters I've ever had the pleasure of firing and are of rock solid construction. Anyway can't say enough good about them, too bad USFA is out of business. I've attached a photo.
Thank you,
duk

Very nice. Rodeo's must be a rarity in .38-40.

Morning Lonesome,
In researching these revolvers I found this info:
This information was posted on another Forum by Gary Granger formerly of USFA:
"All the LH Rodeos were Longhunters. The single letters were standard Rodeos. The A & B prefixes were made with Uberti parts. There were no "Cs". The "Ds" and later were all US. The 38-40 was RARE in that there was normally a $100 upcharge for anything other than a 38sp or 45. Maybe a couple of dozen in 38-40. We didn't do many 38-40s (or 32-20s) in any model."
Thank you,
