Just picked up a 12 Ga., Charles Daly Model 500 Side-by-Side Shotgun with 28 Full/Modified barrels. It is made by Miroku in Japan between 1963 and 1976. Before I actually got it, I was considered chopping the barrrels to 18.5. After getting it and seeing it, though, it would be blasphemy to cut the barrels on such a beautiful weapon. It is absolutely gorgeous! Although it is a "Field Grade" it isn't even in the same class, or let alone same planet as a Stevens 311 or Stoeger. I'll be using it at a match a week from Saturday, and I will post pics.
