Spencer Burnside

Hi evryone! My 1st post.
I've just acquired (inherited) a Spencer/Burnside Carbine.
Serial number is 13,776
Can anyone tell me what year it was made?
I would also like to ask what is it's value?
It's in very decent condition. Bore shines, but of course pitted from black powder.
I'm not sure about posting pics here.

The Burnside contract Spencer’s were only made in 1865 and possibly early 1866 if my memory serves me right. The first ones were delivered to Springfield Armory in early April 65.
