New Rig
« on: October 25, 2005, 05:18:20 AM »
Well, pards.  Got muh new rig from C & J Traders (http://www.thecowboyshop.com/)  last Saturday.  Jest in time fer my shoot.  Wore em all day without a hitch.  Ain't nothin' fancy, which jest suits me fine ;).  Holds 20 rounds of 45 LC.  Remi' 58's fit perfectly so the tie downs are really fer show, not really needed.  Strong side right is buscadero.  The crossdraw has the leather "latch" ta keep it in place.

Now my Pride and Joys have a restin' place that is safe and secure whilst I'm on the move.  Expect ta have muh matchin' 6 round 12 ga slide and badge holder later on this week   ;)

Do you actually call your guns by name?  One is "Pride" and the other "Joy?"  Cool!!

It's not Cowboy, but I call my Python "Monty."  And my Buffler gun (Taylors 1874 Sharps, 45-70) "The Beast."

Steel Horse,

I am suprised that you did not name your 45-70 "Main Gun".   ;D ;D ;D

Top,

That name is still reserved for guns of OVER 105 or 120 mm! ;)

Yep, Steel!  That's their handles.  Pride and Joy.

Course, I forwarn any soul ta call 'em that in a disrespectful way.  Like Clint's mule, their feelin's might git hurt. ;D ;D ;D
