Is Colt even making SAAs anymore?

The big money is in plastic guns. Colt still turns out the SAA but not in enough numbers to suit me.

I spoke to the Colt Custom Shop manager at the NRA convention last spring.  He told me that had a two-year waiting list at that time.  I'm thinking of getting in line - should be able to round up the money in two years to pay for 'em!

Colt makes 200 SAA's per month. That's straight from Brent Turchi, the head honcho of the Custom Shop. 

Somebody please remind me again how many USFA's SAA's are being made monthly(?).

There are lots of SAA Colts available on line, all price ranges and all conditions. 265- 1st, 2d, 3d generation Colts on Guns International. They may seem pricey to many but to me the knockoffs are pricey too and not quite the same thing as a genuine SAA.

I was wondering this myself so went on the Colt web site.
Both the SAA & New Frontier are cataloged, I didn't see a siuggested price, but they are both there.
The SAA is offered in CC/blue & Nickle, all 3 bbl lengths, & .357 & .45 Colt.
The New Frontier is offered in Royal Blue bbl & cylinder/CCH frame in all 3 bbl lengths, & in .44 Special & .45 Colt.

Many gunmakers don't bother placing their MSRP in freebie catalogs or online (same difference) - especially with limited production pieces whose pricing can change - the dealers get those price sheets separately.
