Holiday Greetings
« on: December 23, 2011, 09:46:31 PM »
As the GAF Senior Chaplain I want to wish all GAF members a very Merry Christmas and a truly bountiful New Year.  Had it not been for the birth of the Christ Child and all that He stands for, many of the freedoms and joyful things we now enjoy would probably never have taken place. Even the very birth of this great country may not have taken place since the main reason for the arrival of the first and many immigrants thereafter was to gain religious freedom. I ask you all to join with me in giving great thanks to God for His wondrous Gift, not just during this season but every day.

Yours in the Master's Service,
LTC Montgomery Little, GAF Senior Chaplain

And to you and yours, sir!  And to all of you out there! :)
Ride to the sound of the guns, but watch out for bushwhackers! Godspeed to all in harm's way in the defense of Freedom! God Bless America!

Merry Christmas and Happy New year to all.

And a special prayer and thought to those who serve on and under the Sea and those who serve on Land and in the Air - may the spirit of Christmas fill all of them with peace as they serve both near home and in far away lands.

Merry Christmas to all of my friends in the GAF. Please keep Specialist Travis Buranen in your thoughts and prayers. He is currently serving with the Minnesota National Guard in Kuwait. Regards, Pat

Politically Correct Season's Greetings:

Please accept with no obligation, express or implied, my best wishes for an environmentally conscious, socially responsible, low-stress, non-addictive, gender-neutral celebration of the winter solstice holiday, practiced within the most enjoyable traditions of the religious persuasion of your choice, or secular practices of your choice, with respect for the religious/secular persuasion and/or traditions of others, or their choice not to practice religious or secular traditions at all. I also wish you a fiscally successful, personally fulfilling and medically uncomplicated recognition of the onset of the generally accepted calendar year 2012, but not without due respect for the calendars of choice of other cultures whose contributions to society have helped make America great. Not to imply that America is necessarily greater than any other country nor the only America in the Western Hemisphere. Also, this wish is made without regard to the race, creed, color, age, physical ability, religious faith or sexual preference of the wishee.

By accepting these greetings, you are accepting the aforementioned terms as stated. This greeting is not subject to clarification or withdrawal. It is freely transferable with no alteration to the original greeting. It implies no promise by the wisher to actually implement any of the wishes for herself/himself/others, and is void where prohibited by law and is revocable at the sole discretion of the wisher. This wish is warranted to perform as expected within the usual application of good tidings for a period of one year or until the issuance of a subsequent holiday greeting, whichever comes first, and warranty is limited to replacement of this wish or issuance of a new wish at the sole discretion of the wisher.  Further your deponent sayeth not.

Non-Politically Correct Version.

MERRY CHRISTMAS
