S&W Hand Ejector 32 serial numbers
« on: April 11, 2020, 06:39:12 PM »
I know there were less than 20,000 produced, produced from 1896 to 1903. What serial number makes it antique, prior to 1898?
Thanks
Brian

I asked your question on the Smith & Wesson Collector's Forum and the response that I got was:

All Smith & Wesson 1st Model .32 Hand Ejectors are considered antiques.
(I found that very interesting.)

It's similar to the No.3 DA Frontier's. The serial numbered frames were produced prior to 1899. Actual assembly dates are not taken into account.
