Old Army Conversion Holsters

I have been trying to consolidate some build several sets of holsters for one belt that I have that way I can swap out the holsters and wear the same belt. I made a set of 72 Open Top Holsters for this belt and now I made a set of holsters that will fit my Remington conversions.

When I bought the Open Top Revolvers they came with some holsters that I really liked but they were very flimsy leather and would not stay open for the reholster. What I did like is that they fit both my Open Tops and my Remington Conversions so I tried to copy that pattern as best as I could without busting open to holsters and using it for a pattern.

These are basically what they looked like with the exception of the makers mark. They were not marked at all.

Thanks. The holsters I copied were basically the same design and borders but with no makers mark anywhere on it.

Thanks and that is a good point. What is the best way to check? Any idea?

The rule for SASS (and I think NCOWS too) is max 30 degrees from vertical, as worn.  Since some folks belts are lower in the front, they added the "as worn" because that tends to increase the angle.  I know this rule gets ignored a lot at local matches unless the angle is almost sideways, but someone at a bigger match might call them on it.

Yes. I would want them to be legal all the way around. I will check. If it's too much I will make a new Xdraw holster with a correct angle and use this one on the farm.

An "angle finder" placed on the outside of the holster, along the line-of-sight will tell if You are within parameters.  If You happen to know a carpenter, he will probably have one in his toolbox. 
If not they can be found in hardware stores and on eBay for as low as $ 7.
