I'll take pictures later today.

These guns are ready made for the shoulder stock - and I have one - could be fun

The timing on both are pefect, they are EMF Hartford models and the CCH is very nice.

I popped 12 caps in each yesterday,  and am picking up the balls, overpowder wads and a powder flask today at Gander Mountain.

Probably won't get to test out until next weekend - but they sure seem sweet.

Pics to follow.

Nice, PR. Those are probably the nicest looking out of Colt's C&B designs. I'd love to have one or two of those in conversions. I think ASM was the only company to try it, unfortunately their terrible quality control made most of them real problem children.......Buck 8) ::) ;)
I might be slow, but I'm mostly accurate.....

Pards and pardettes I hear alot of BP shooters talking about new guns that immediately need different nipples, have faulty springs, need sight adjustments and the like.

Well know.......

I must be one of the luckiest guys - cause the two 61 navies that I got from a fellow SASS member on the other wire - performed out of the box flawlessly today.

Each gun was shot through 6 strings of five rounds each.

APP powder (FFFG), wonder wads, and hornady balls. I started with cci caps but then finished day with RWS caps.

My only negative all day - them CCI's are crap compared to the RWS caps.

So here is to EMF hartford 1861 Navy Repros, Good ole Daniel Nighteyes for selling them to me, APP powder, hornady balls and RWS caps.

I may just get this C&B thing going after all.

Oh and will I in time get the guns worked on.... probably, but no need to while I get used to them and definitely no need to before competing with them.

Here is to the luck of the draw - I did quite well getting these here guns!
