hey all, I think it'd be great to have a thread about getting back in shape if you all would like to join in. I've noticed that it's always good to have people backing you up when you try things like this, and even though working out is something I like to do on my own, I do like the input and ideas generated from a group.
So, here's my basic workout and plan to get back in shape:
mon, wed, fri
strength workout - weight free - mainly pushups, situps and other things I did in the military
tues, thurs, sat
cardio - wind sprints on tues/thurs, long distance on sat (2 miles)
also, I would like to post that just getting active again and watching what I've been eating has gotten myself to lose 40 pounds in the last 4 months!!!
so post up, if you have questions feel free to ask, before I "let myself go" during the past 6 years, I was in excellent shape while being in TACLET and a Rescue Cutterman Swimmer for the Coast Guard, so any questions feel free to ask.
