CAVEAT:  This is no help but >.  I seldom contribute to the BROW board as I don't actually shoot a "Buffalo" rifle.  And I would adhere to the descriptive of the Board:  The "Rifles" used to harvest Buffalo Hides."

I shoot a Handi single shot rifle for Plainsman.  I wouldn't qualify it here as it is in no way representative of the Plains Rifles used to harvest Buffalo.  I would consider your rifle in the same basket.  It's a really nice rifle.  The "cartridge" it shoots qualifies but the rifle itself does not.  No more than my "Handi" rifle.

My take.  May be "all wet" but there it be.  I'm sure the board moderators will chime in with greater words of wisdom than mine. 

Atza Really fine MeataBall though.  Should serve ya well in Plainsman side match.
