Afternoon all.

Great falls is rainy. I spent most of the day outside at the guard unit barbecue, putting up chairs and tables and kids games. I've been back in the hotel room examining the back of my eyelids since they let m me go. Fortunately, I didn't find any problems with my eyelids.

Del with all that shadowing you sure that is not a coyote, stalking thru?

Coffee is ready... currently 74 here 89% humidity. Guessers predict 105 degree heat index?s today. I will stay inside for the most part.

Just finished feeding and watering including feeding the sponges. No figs or elderberries today, Birds. Now 85 degrees but the humidity has dropped to 65%.  So we got that working for us ;D

Afternoon all.

Billings is warm and sunny today, with a breeze all day.  Yesterday was rough though. As in, NOAA is investigating to determine if there was a tornado that hit town. I really believe that one hit us here. It was windy enough to be throwing rocks and golf ball size hail around off the ground. Someone on our street said there home weather station tops out at 100, and it got faster than that. The airport clocked 78mph sustained winds. There is damage all over the city, too.  My truck escaped with nothing but a broken marker light housing on the roof. My girlfriend's car got some minor pockmarks. No broken glass, but a couple others on campus lost car windows.

In other news, I'm sore today with no real idea why. I was moving like an old man at work.  ::)

Morning y'all.
I'll have sweetea. Thanks.

Any racing?
No, the sulky races stopped at this fair about ten years old. My uncle spends the spring and summer at Racing Aces in MN.
He did race a horse at Ironwood, MI this past weekend.

'Tis 68 and overcast. "Mostly cloudy. Scattered showers in the morning  then a chance of showers and a slight chance of thunderstorms in the afternoon. Highs in the middle 70s. Northeast wind 5 to 10 mph. Chance of rain 40 percent."

The Waushara (my county), Waupaca and Wood county fairs used to have them, but no more. Used to watch my grandfather and uncle race there.

I'd like to see the projection booth ?.
50 years ago we still had some old houses like that in Miami , I was a projectionist is several for a few years out High School

Now they are all multi's with digital projection , I doubt there are any reel to reel or platter systems anymore  :-\

I wonder if the JOYO still might have Simples E7 projectors or Century machines ...I'm  quite sure I could still operate

The little house here in town "Popcorn Palace" built in the 20's is now twined & digital

Digital, that way you can choose the movie, the old system may still be there though, I'll ask, Rita went to HS with the owner.
