Not Hickok 45, that's for sure. They sponsor him a lot.  ;)

I bought "hard-to-find" ammunition from them and am happy .
I clicked on "buy"
I paid them electrostatically
they shipped it with a trackjing number
it got placed by my driveway gate in a "Plain" box
( by watching the tracking number I knew when it arrived)
the order was complete and everything intact.

I would have prefered it if the shipping truck guy had walked the extra 150 feet down the driveway and
put it by our "yard gate" so it would not have sat so close to the street... but that is the way of the world
and I can't even force them to collect a signature even if I pay for "signature required" ....

fortunately in our neck of Indian Territory, the porch pirates seem to stay clear due to ranch dogs,
sharp eyed neighbors and ranchers with rifles....

I STILL don't understand why they will not ship to a PO Box, all our other mail goes there
and I get to walk in, say "Hi" and sign for it...

 ;D  Nope    ;D

Nope.  No issues with them at all.  Of course, I've never had any business dealings with them either.  That may contribute to my lack of any problems ??  I really don't anticipate any future problems with them either.

This missive is worthless.  I'm bored out of my skull (which is empty anyway).  Just needed to pick at something.  Should you elect to ignore my contribution, I' ll understand completely and take no offense.  You only pay for what you Kneed.

I was going to buy some odds and ends for my Norincos, but they had nothing for me. How would you like to count that?

If a person has endless patience, does not require any information or customer service at all, does not care about tracking information, is willing to hit the "buy" button and forget about the transaction for many days and weeks, then that person will have no problems with Bud's.  They do what they say, in their own way, in their own good time, without any hand holding.  I've purchased from them and the price and product were great.  I learned a lot about what I need in the way of support when spending big chunks of money on line and my willingness to pay for it.

Several years ago I ordered a Cimarron Uberti from them.  The ad said they had one in stock.  I paid by the Internet with a cc.  It was several weeks before the rifle arrived at my FFL.  I figured at the time they had made a mistake, didn't have one and had to order from Cimarron.  Maybe not?

Anyway, they usually have very good prices.

I’ve bought three guns from them , no problems yet . I think they have a couple different locations and might even list what they have access to from distributors. I hear often their not the fastest shippers so I’m guessing they sometimes have to actually get the gun first . Just what gun buying has turned into these days

Not speaking from personal experience with Bud's, but read some assorted reviews a while back and seems the biggest complaints were slow shipping at times, poor customer service response with questions, and refunds on returns. You'll always have complaints if yer in business with the public no matter if you do everything right. Hickok 45 thinks they're the 'Bee's Nee's', but when you're getting free use of firearms and free ammo from someone ya aren't going to give bad em plugs. I'm good with my current suppliers, gun shops, and such, I wouldn't be afraid to order from Bud's if they had something I wanted-get bad service a couple of times, Good-bye'!!

No.

That was not exactly a honest answer, but not wanting to trash a business without more positive reason then I had at the time, was the reason I answered the way I did.

It is ongoing, but has to do with sitting in shipping forever. :-[

When you figure in the shipping and then a background check fee, you're really not saving all that much money. I'll stick with my LGS.

I generally do the same... but When I actually asked the LGS if they could special order some funky cartridges or magazines for me, the reply was “ oh you can do that yourself on the net...”
