Armi Sports Spencer Ladder Sight Slider Question
« on: March 09, 2022, 06:38:22 PM »
While playing around with the ladder sight at home I got the slide out of the ladder and the damn tiny ball that keeps the tension on the slider fell off and I couldn’t find it.

So I put a 8 1/2 shot instead of the ball and was able to get the slider tension back.

What can be future implications on this or it is good ?

I am not a metal expert and don’t know the side affect of lead on the slider metal.

As the leadshot is softer than the small steel ball, it will conceivably wear out faster.
However, I think Your fix will be good for years to come.

I'm also not so sure that a steel birdshot would be a better fix; they tend to be less round than leadshot.
