Latest Acquisition(with pics)

The 45 Colt Uberti Schofields.  Like the super smooth action job.  It is a bit more of a reach for the hammer than on a Ruger new Vaquero. 43 oz empty vs 42.8 for the 7.5 inch NMV Ruger. Can't wait to get to the range.  They also came with the original wood grips for when playing a soldier

Very nice indeed.  I've got a single 5" Schofield, one of my favorites.
Civilize them with a Krag . . .

They are 43 OZ empty vs 42.8 for a 7.5 inch RNV and a bit farther reach for the hammer.  I should think an original with the shorter Schofield cylinder would be slightly less barrel heavy but that is a guess as I have not handled and original schofield or other #3 such as a 44 Russian
