Title: Looking for a 7 1/2" .44 Special New Frontier Barrel
Post by: Niederlander on February 07, 2022, 03:21:33 PM
Gentlemen, I've posted in the Classifieds, but I'm looking for a 7 1/2" .44 Special barrel for a New Frontier.  Let me know if you've got any such animal in captivity you'd be willing to part with.  Thanks!

If all else fails, you can have one made and properly marked by Alan Harton of Single Action Services in Houston, Texas.  He is a wizard with 1st and 2nd generation Colt SAA's.  I recently had him convert a mechanically sound, but ragged looking 32-20 Bisley into a beautiful 7-1/2" barreld 44 Special to match another I had.  He made the barrel himself and was an absolutely beautiful job.  You can reach him at 713-907-6031 or 713-772-8314.

Below are a couple of photos of the gun.
