Today I'm rendering tomatillos, chili peppers, jalapeños and regular tomatoes into spicy salsa. I'm going to freeze it to use throughout Winter.

Wife is baking chocolate chip oatmeal cookies.

(Hmmmm. I wonder how oatmeal chocolate chip cookies would taste dipped in salsa?)

So cool.... I wandered around the back rooms & up stairs storage ....it's true what the say, Museums have way more in storage than on display....
I looked at foot locker full to the top of Bayonets' of all kinds, one of my jobs will be to identify and tag them.

76 here right now and got some iced coffee. Spent a nice couple hours smoothing up an Opentop .38 and it now seems quite happy.

Good morning Gents.... coffee is on.

Well Sirs, I'm in two days with my Covid booster & Flu shots, and no ill effects , least non felt or detected.
I'm not a germophobic, but neither do I what the maladies or if I do I want it as mild a case  as possible.

In other news,  today is my 1st. day at the museum , that is as an employee  :)

Perhaps, Teddy Roosevelt will come to life  ;)

Morning all.

I’m over in Great Falls doing my monthly time for Uncle Sam. So far can’t complain, lunch has been good.

Evening Y'all. I was at a gun show this weekend representing SASS and the CAS clubs in this area, I had quite a bit of interest and handed out about 50 Cowboy Chronicles. I'll have to call the new office and ask them to send me more supplies for the next show in January.I guess I have some time on that.

Evening y'all.

Got home from IA 'bout 20:45. A good time was had by all. Had one fatality. While I was taking videos of the expansion match, my work phone's battery bulged and started peeling the screen off. So, I shut it down. I'll see if I can get the videos off it.

It is on semi-permanent open end loan, by a member.
It does drive , the owner also has a Duce & half , and Humvee on display.

There is a WW2 Willy's and a Harley WLA as well.

One of the Harley's I used to own was a 1940 WL that I restored. One of the absolute dumbest things I ever did was to sell it. It was a birthday bike.
You need to learn to like all the little everday things like a sip of good whiskey, a soft bed, a glass of buttermilk,  and a feisty old gentleman like myself
