FWIW -I just measured my Uberti .50-95 rifle. It is 1-48 twist as advertised. I've had mine quite a while, maybe it changed on later rifles.

I suspect there was some change on the latest batch. Mine was built in 20 or 21....I forget exactly when.

My 45-60 has a 1:20" twist. I'll recheck my data & determine year of manufacture...well, someday after I'm cleared to handle that much weight😅

Falling down never a good thing. I'm supposed to be extra cautious about that & I also had surgery last Friday. Nothing over 8 lb for 6 weeks to prevent stitches opening or worse a hernia. Figure that means I'm ok to shoot a lightweight 22 & take short walks as long as don't slip.

I'll get to green pastures & spring one way or another 😁 👍
