a day late and $600 dollar short !

I just found out a young kid gettin out of reenacting just sold his Henry 44/40 for $600.
I miss it by one day and the $600 it seems 
I saw it , it's a bit blue worn to brown near the receiver and probably needs a major cleaning (from shooting blanks)
But the bore was bright and the stock is only lightly over-handled (read small dents).
And as it turns out a friend (who has wanted one ) got it ,  so all is good.

Bad news is he will continue to mostly use it in Reenactments with blanks .
