Interesting! I wonder where he was hunting and what is his accent. Can't quite make out whether German or French (maybe Alsatian?). His placing of the twig in the boar's mouth suggests German...the last bite, out of respect for the game. Years ago, I hunted wild boar in the Central Tennessee hill country. I took two with an '86 Winchester, but in .33 WCF, using smokeless powder and jacketed flat softpoint bullets.
