I have a pair of Ruger Bisley's SS with 4.62 barrels (which is rare) in 45 colt I would sell for the right price. They are Jimmy Spurs tuned and like new include boxes and paperwork. They do not make them anymore text your email if interested and I will email pics to you

The one container of Shockey's gold that I have used was clumped when I first opened it, making it difficult to measure out with a dipper. I closed it up again and shook the heck out of it. Problem cured.

Yeah, that's the ticket

Abiline,

Great ol' six-gun. I'd treat her with respect (nothing but black powder) and fix her enough to run well and be safe. If you can get her into shape she probably aught to be shot more frequently than once a year. Maybe 4th of July, your birthday, or any other excuse you can come up with.  (smile)

On a burn rate chart, fastest to slowest, it is#71 out of 142. 23 gr. will probably about
fill the case.

I'd load 1 round and shoot a steel plate. 1. Did it go off and clear the barrel.  2. Did it ring the steel like
a fresh reload. Then either shoot em' or use your spare time pulling bullets.

Teddy Roosevelt is one of my most admired Presidents.
In his last years, still the adventurer he fished the 10,000 islands on the west coast of Florida.
He stayed and my Grandfathers Seminole Hotel in Ponta Gorda.

This photo was taken on one of the stays, the Jordan Auto he is in was my grandfather's.
Here as Roosevelt arrived, my grandfather and grandmother are standing near the post at the hotel entrance.
