Another day has dawned over smoke-hazed peaks of the Trinity Alps.

Not much new here. Biggest news is, we acquired three new turkeys. All together we now have 120 pounds of turkey living in our yard.

Afternoon Y'all,Tomorrow I'll be heading north to our State championship,Heluva Rucus,for 3 days of fun and shooting as well as meeting up with friends that I haven't seen since last year.Wish me luck.

Morning all.

Biggest news: a friend of mine has acquired a mini dirt bike with a whopping 6.5 hp engine.

We've been tootling up and down a dirt road for the past couple days. Down hill, at full throttle, we almost hit 35mph. Uphill, we're doing good to hit 15.

Also, I think I will be ordering a Ruger American Ranch in 5.56 today. I just picked up a bunch of XM193 ammo for cheap, and I want to see how accurate it is out of a scoped rifle with a good barrel.

grand opening was this morning ...ribbon cutting , 4 launcher t-shirt shooting ... Show is open.

I'm off tomorrow , then it's dismantle on Sat @ close 5PM

10 days to set up a 3 day show, 3 days to dismantle ....lots of neat stuff like this guy.

Big bunch of rain here today. Cell phone won't stop with the weather alerts. School called just before 4pm to pick up #1 daughter, went up the road to the low water crossing, one glance and drove on through, around the curve to find the bus backing about 1/4 mile to where he could turn around. I guess he's not familiar enough with that slab to read it. Picked up Alyssa and splashed on home. With the rain we've had since then, I probably wouldn't go through again.
