Black River Bill:
2nd. Gen. originally a .357 Mag, all blue, with 4 3/4" barrel, & Sambar Stag grips.  Gun was sent to John Kopec for some work, as a hammer notch was broken, and I wanted the frame color case hardened, re-blued, and converted to .45 Colt.  He installed a 4 3/4" barrel and an older style cylinder.  Last year I had the gun reworked again, and had a 5 1/2" barrel installed, polished and re-blued, except for the frame, and had the hammer color case hardened.  The Ivory grips were fit to the gun as well.  Last work was done by Bill Fuchs, Spring Creek Armory, Wyoming.






3rd Gen. .44 Spl., 5 1/2" barrel, and Sambar Stag grips.
