Ruger Sheriff SS large frame

Buddy offered me an older Ruger sheriff birdshead grip model in 45 Colt serial dates to 2005. Includes the paperwork & case $800 seems a bit high but it in excellent condition. Hammer has been swapped out to the larger thumb - includes original hammer.

Pretty cool.  Butt.  That price is about DOUBLE what it sold for new.  Ruger Vaquero aren't really exactly museum collector items.  Some over-priced I would think.
