S&W 4th Model
« on: December 24, 2020, 03:22:58 PM »
Its a slow day so I loaded a few .32 S&W for my little S&W fourth model. Typical bullet weight is 76 - 80gr. All I had in hand were some commercial bulk 90gr swc. Not wanting to stress the old boy, I put them in the lathe and turned off most of the nose. This brought them down to 76gr. Following Lyman's guidance for these old top breaks, I loaded them with 1.6gr of Unique. According to Lyman this should be good for 493fps. Hardly a manstopper, but adequate for ferocious rats.
