Help with new purchase ( R-M )
« on: September 08, 2020, 01:11:06 PM »
Drat!  Had a R-M Transition model ordered, paid for; ready to go -- then I called Cimarron to verify the FFL copy I sent got to them okay.  Well, gee whiz, the R-M Transition
was actually OUT OF STOCK, but the website was "behind".   :(   New shipment about 2-3 months, he put me on the wait list.  Oh well.
So. I've decided to instead go back away and think about what I really should do.  Thought about one of the 1858 Remingtons.
Suggestions?  Oh, found Schofields but price just too high for this old man, especially for two of them.

Oh, the good news is Cimarron said it was fine to shoot 44 Russian ammo through my 1860 R-Mason 44 Colt, so I'm looking for some. ;)

Thank you, Major 2, found this one
Cimarron 1851 Richards -Mason 38 Special 5.5" Barrel Conversion Model Walnut Grip Standard Blued CA926; less than $500.00

And I did find some 44 Russian ammo for my other R-M.
