Cheap & Dirty
« on: February 06, 2019, 07:40:18 PM »
Recently my Bride and I moved to Florida permanently. We left a lot of things behind including my Gun Cart. I needed something quick that could be built with a minimum of tools and would fit into the trunk of a car. I built this around a collapsible cart from Home Depot. Total cost was under $40. The long arms are held in place with a bungee cord. The plastic box holds enough ammo for a match plus a few odd and ends. She rolls nicely.

Many thanks to Major 2 for cutting the wood for me

Welcome to Florida, Johnny.  Which possy will you be shooting with down here?  That is a nice looking and inexpensive cart.
Scouts Out!

I'll be shooting with the Doodle Hill Regulators. They are about ten minutes from my home in Sun City.

I've shot with the Antelope Junctions Rangers several years ago and I'm going to try to make some of their matches also.

Simple is good! Looks very practical.

I salvaged a baby stroller and converted it to a four gun cart I use for Sporting Clays and 3 gun. Could be used for CAS, but it looks too high tech and I prefer my old weathered, barn red Cowboy cart.

I mean - what would John Wayne say ...  ::)
"I won't be wronged, I won't be insulted, I won't be laid a hand on.
I don't do these things to others and I require the same from them."  John Wayne

Howdy Drydock,

Thanks for the kind word and catching an error.

I revised my post to say Gun Cart instead of just Gun. I ain't much of a pruff reeder!

Hey Johnny, had no idea you were relocating. We would gladly have made you welcome in South Carolina.

When you get the urge to travel, we normally shoot the 2nd Sunday of each month. Contact me if any questions. That’s a pretty cool looking gun cart BTW.

See you next month in Davenport.
