S&W 24?
Dick Dastardly:
So, would you "Wild Bunch" pards let me play with you if I shot my S&W 24 and used a speed loader?
DD-DLoS
Texas Lawdog:
Nope, Ya gotta load em one at a time. I think your Model 24 is too new anyway.
Blackpowder Burn:
You can come join us at our club level matches, Dick! We're a relaxed sort of bunch here in Texas. We'll work on getting my 1911 running on BP and your DD/PUK 200 grain boolit. By that time I'm sure the virus will have infected you and you'll then go out and buy your own 1911. I've never owned a 1911 until about 2 weeks ago. Now I'm hooked.

Sir Charles deMouton-Black:
How about my S&W 1917, or so? It is actually a 1937 Brazilian, but is just the same except for the Brazilian crest.
Montana Slim:
A S&W 24 is too modern of a revolver for me to know anything about...but, Personally, I'd go with a 1914 cutoff date for firearms....Of course I have no influence on these matches since I ain't the SASS Wild Bunch, or even a local match director (anymore). Basic requirements along my way of thinking are to have 1 each: Self-loading pistol, revolver, rifle/carbine and manually operated shotgun.
FWIW,
Slim
