Thomas E. Addis and Winchester

Hello,

Can anyone tell me some information about Thomas E. Addis and his adventure taking Henry/Winchester rifles down to Mexico in 1866?  Were these 1860 Henrys or 1866 Henry Winchesters? 

Or any other information of Henry rifles used in the Mexican adventure 1863-67.

I would direct you to buy Herbert Houze's book on Winchester for an in depth story of this man & matter. FWIW, they were neither Henry nor '66's. Trust me, buy the book.
