It's a clone, but it's not Italian
« on: September 12, 2012, 02:04:38 AM »
I have a pair of 1873 clones, but they're not Italian, they're German. I hope that you guys won’t run me out of town for posting about my non Italian clones. Mine are a pair of EAA Bounty Hunters with 7 1/2" barrels and in .45 L.C. Physical problems keep me from competing, but I do get out to shoot once in a while, and I just love my Bounty Hunters. Oh, and if you do decide to run me out of town, give me a short head start so that I can get out front and make people think that it's a parade.
I will no longer respond to the rants of the small minded that want to sling mud rather than discuss in an adult manner.

Hey buggs :-)

There is nothing wrong with Bounty Hunters.  There's more than just a few CAS players that got their start with EAA.  Solid basic guns that will serve you well.

Nothing in the title of this board states where it comes from pard.  All clones are welcome here.

Well, so it does.  However I would say that in the spirit of all things cowboy that we try to emulate around here that it is quite alright.  However, if you wish, I can certainly delete the post.

By the way; do you always have to argue the tiniest of issues?

Other than the transfer bars and a few dimensional differences from a distance they look great.
